Join the CADFEM Customer Excellence team to oversee a skilled group of CFD application engineers, collaborating with our clients to anticipate future engineering challenges and resolve real-world engineering issues by implementing ANSYS products in their design workflows. As a manager, you will lead a team of engineers providing technical application engineering support and professional services, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to leverage your technical expertise and enhance business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise a team of application engineers specializing in Computational Fluid Dynamics, guiding them through technical activities in the sales process, from technical discovery to product presentations, demonstrations, evaluations, and deployments to drive software sales in new and existing accounts. - Engage with key customer stakeholders to define the Ansys value proposition, comprehend their product design requirements, implement best simulation practices to enhance customer productivity. - Collaborate with sales managers to assess opportunities, forecast, prioritize engineering resources, and support the execution of new business growth initiatives. - Lead team development and mentorship, offering guidance to achieve key objectives, recruit top talent, promote cross-product/region collaboration, and foster professional growth. - Contribute to continuous process enhancement, recommend and oversee process improvement initiatives, and ensure successful implementation of resulting changes within the team. Desired Candidate Profile: - Masters degree in engineering with over 10 years of experience in engineering analysis and technology using ANSYS or similar commercial CFD software. - Proficient in CFD Concepts & Simulation including Turbulence, Heat Transfer, Multiphase flows, and other multi-physics simulations such as FSI. - Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively across various teams and hierarchies within the organization. - Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and executive presentation skills. - Problem-solving aptitude with the ability to provide suitable solutions for customers. - Projects professionalism, encourages teamwork, and displays business acumen. - Capable of fostering collaboration and coordination across teams distributed in multiple locations. - Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.
