Job Description
1. Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, service history, and calibration records. 2. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues quickly and effectively. 3. Assist in installation, commissioning, and relocation of lab equipment and machinery. 4. Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, NABL as applicable). 5. Manage AMCs (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and liaise with OEMs/vendors for major repairs or upgrades. 6. Support infrastructure modifications required for new R&D projects. 7. Participate in audits, risk assessments, and equipment validation processes. 8. Maintain adequate inventory of critical spares and consumables for R&D assets. 9. Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance of R&D machinery, lab instruments, HVAC systems, utilities, and supporting infrastructure. 10. Ensure operational readiness of specialized R&D equipment like pilot plants, testing rigs, prototype machines, etc. 11. Coordinate with R&D engineers and scientists to understand specific equipment requirements and provide timely support.
