Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Jaipur. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on expertise in mechanical, electrical, and control systems maintenance in a manufacturing/OEM setup. The role will focus on maintaining high equipment uptime, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with safety and statutory regulations.
- Key Responsibilities:Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance for mechanical power presses, EOT cranes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, CNC machines, utilities (DG sets, compressors, forklifts, overhead cranes), and other factory equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis using QC tools, Kaizens, VSM, MFMEA, CBM, TBM, QC Story techniques.
- Maintain and optimize uptime of pressing, tryout, and spotting machines. Track and improve MTTR and MTBF KPIs.
- Ensure alignment, parallelism, and perpendicularity of presses.
- Repair and service control systems including PLCs.
- Operate and maintain systems including DC tools, battery-operated tools, conveyors, number punching machines, washing machines, motors, jigs, fixtures, and paint shop equipment.
- Oversee material handling equipment such as hoists, lifts, and chiller systems.
- Implement TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities and lead PM Pillar initiatives.
- Plan, monitor, and control spare parts inventory.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements.
- Perform basic compliance checks and ensure safety practices are adhered to in all maintenance activities.
- Required Skills & Knowledge:Proficiency in analytical QC tools and problem-solving methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Working experience with PLC and control systems.
- Familiarity with MHE (Material Handling Equipment) and utility maintenance.
- Knowledge of TPM, Kaizen, MFMEA, and CBM/TBM techniques.
- Understanding of ISO standards and industrial safety regulations.
- Desired Candidate Profile:B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role in OEM/manufacturing setup.
- Strong analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and handle multi-disciplinary systems.
