Job Description
Analyze business requirements and technical specifications for mainframe applications. Design, develop, and execute test cases for mainframe systems (e.g., COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS). Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing. Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect tracking tools. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to ensure quality deliverables. Participate in test planning, estimation, and status reporting. Required Skills & Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in mainframe testing. Strong knowledge of mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM). Familiarity with batch job testing and data validation. Good understanding of SDLC and STLC. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills.,
