Our growing company which is engaged in manufacturing of carbide and Carbide based Cutting Tools for machining operations, is looking to fill the role of Machine Shop Incharge. Job Purpose: Plan machine jobs, allocate manpower, conduct daily machine checks, coordinate material dispatch, update customers, program machines, inspect jobs, handle maintenance, and manage worker schedules to ensure efficient operations. Job Responsiblities: Develop detailed plans for machine operations, ensuring each machine is assigned specific tasks based on its capabilities and current workload. Assign appropriate personnel to each machine and task, considering skill levels and job requirements. Conduct machine dimension checks three to four times daily to ensure accuracy and precision in operations. Plan the next days activities in advance, ensuring all resources, materials, and personnel are prepared. Manage the dispatch of materials, ensuring timely delivery to clients or subsequent stages of production Create and input job programs for machines, ensuring they are set up correctly for specific tasks. Receive and address reports from junior staff regarding material issues, work updates, and job-specific problems. Conduct inspections of machine jobs to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Attend to machine breakdowns promptly, diagnosing issues and implementing solutions to minimize downtime. Coordinate with machine vendors for maintenance, spare parts, and technical support. Monitor and adjust worker schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow.
