Open Futures, a proprietary algorithmic trading firm, is currently seeking a candidate to join our Infrastructure team as a Low Latency Software Developer. We are a well-backed company with a strong presence in multiple cities across India, specializing in trading across various asset classes on exchanges. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role within our trading team, focusing on the development of low latency real-time Software and Strategies for High-Frequency Trading. As a Low Latency Software Developer, your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and testing high-performance algorithmic trading software. - Collaborating with Senior Traders to create Low Latency Trading Systems. - Managing real-time trading and risk analysis platforms, as well as optimizing low-level systems for data processing. - Working closely with experienced team members to implement tailored solutions that enhance our technology stack in terms of speed, functionality, and cost-efficiency. To be successful in this role, you should possess: - A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field. - 1-5 years of professional experience using C/C++ and Python within a UNIX/LINUX environment. - Proficiency in FIX protocol, network programming (TCP/IP), multithreaded applications, computational intelligence, real-time programming, or GUI programming. - Previous exposure to the HFT industry is advantageous. - Strong understanding of exchange connectivity, FIX protocol, market data handlers, and related concepts. - Demonstrated attributes of hard work, self-motivation, and commitment to task completion. - An innovative mindset with a willingness to explore unconventional ideas, supported by an environment that fosters learning and growth opportunities.
