Job Description
You are an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer who will be responsible for developing and maintaining critical analytics modules within the TAC analytics platform. Your primary focus will be on developing code and visualizations using the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Looker product to deliver a productized and self-service capable analytics solution to our customers. Your technical expertise should include proven experience in GCP Looker (specifically Looker Core, not Studio), proficiency in LookML and User-defined Dashboard creation, strong SQL development skills, and proficiency in modeling data relationships. You should also be well-versed in git & GitHub source control. Additional technologies that you should be familiar with include Terraform for templating, Looker extensions, and CI/CD practices. Experience with JIRA and Confluence for work item management and documentation will also be beneficial. To excel in this role, you must be an expert in all aspects of GCP Looker development, with experience in other BI platforms considered a plus. Knowledge of GCP BigQuery will also be advantageous. You should possess the ability to quickly acquire expertise in various business data domains, along with strong problem-solving skills and application support capabilities. Being a team player with effective written and verbal communication skills is essential for success in this position.,
