Job Description
We are in to IT hardware business. For that we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Manager / Warehouse Manager to lead our logistics and supply chain team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to optimizing our operations.
Note : Basic knowledge of IT Products like Laptops, Desktops, PC components, Networking Products is must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and product.
2. Inventory Control:
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
- Implement inventory management best practices to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and reliability of inventory records.
3. Transportation and Distribution:
- Manage transportation operations, including route planning, carrier selection, and freight negotiation.
- Optimize distribution networks to minimize lead times and transportation costs.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
4. Team Leadership:
- Supervise and lead a team of logistics professionals, including warehouse staff and transportation coordinators, Delivery Boys.
5. DOA & Replacement :
- Manage the process of returning defective products to the manufacturer or vendor, including packaging, shipping, and tracking.
- If replacement products are required, coordinate the ordering and delivery of replacement units to the customer or retail locations.
Qualifications:
- Diploma must. Degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, transportation, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
