Job Description
- Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, or shelves using manual methods or equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or cranes.
- Ensure correct placement of materials based on delivery or storage instructions.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to verify contents and quality.
- Secure loads to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE during operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the loading/unloading area.
- Report any damaged goods, discrepancies, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Assist in stock counting and inventory audits as needed.
- Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with drivers and warehouse staff for smooth operations.
