Job Description
Installation: Assemble and install new elevators, escalators, or other lifting systems according to technical specifications and safety codes. Ensure all components are properly aligned and functioning. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on elevators and escalators to ensure they are operating smoothly. Lubricate and clean machinery, replace worn-out parts, and make necessary adjustments. Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues when a lift is not working correctly or is malfunctioning. Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, control panels, or cables. Safety Checks: Conduct safety inspections to comply with legal regulations and safety standards. Test emergency systems and ensure all safety mechanisms are functioning properly. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed. Document any issues or incidents, including the steps taken to resolve them. Customer Service: Communicate with clients to explain issues and repairs. Provide recommendations for additional work or upgrades if necessary. Emergency Response: Respond to emergency calls for breakdowns or malfunctions. Perform quick repairs or temporary fixes to ensure minimal disruption. Upgrades and Modernization: Upgrade old systems with new technology to improve efficiency or safety. Install new components or systems to enhance performance. Skills and Qualifications Technical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical diagrams. Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
