Back to careers Lidar Expert Pune, India Key Responsibilities LiDAR Data Processing: Process raw LiDAR data using specialized software (e.g., Terrasolid, LP360, or similar) for point cloud classification, filtering, and 3D modelling. Generate digital elevation models (DEMs), digital surface models (DSMs), and contour maps from LiDAR datasets. Perform quality control checks on LiDAR datasets to ensure data accuracy and integrity. GIS Data Management: Create, update, and maintain geospatial databases using ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar GIS platforms. Integrate and manage spatial data layers (e.g., environmental, topographic, infrastructure) with LiDAR datasets. Perform spatial analysis, georeferencing, and mapping tasks to support project needs. Develop high-quality maps and visualizations for reporting and presentation purposes. Collaboration & Support: Work closely with engineers, environmental scientists, and survey teams to support geospatial data requirements. Assist in field data collection using GPS/GNSS devices, drones, or other data capture technologies. Contribute to the development and improvement of workflows for data integration and project efficiency. Reporting & Documentation: Document processes, workflows, and procedures related to GIS/LiDAR tasks. Prepare reports summarizing geospatial and LiDAR analysis results for internal and client use.,
