Roles and Responsibility: 5+years of experience in managing Legal & Compliance matters for NBFCs. Knowledge of Commercial Contracts, redefining & negotiation of contracts & NDAs Drafting and vetting of Services and other related agreements, Legal Notices/replies, lease agreements, legal documentation. Identifying legal issues and risks that may affect the business (and ensuring that the business leadership is properly advised concerning those issues). Providing legal guidance relating to the formulation and implementation of strategies and policies. Responsible for liaising; coordination with regulators and external partners. Negotiation with counterparties over the agreement terms/clauses, and ensuring timely closure of the same. Managing companys litigation, Attending courts matters and other departmental proceedings. Maintaining internal legal MIS for litigation and other compliances. Coordination and follow-ups with external counsels and review/vet various submissions in the ongoing cases/proceedings. Advising the respective business teams of legal risks mitigation and appropriate contractual protections. Lead all the litigation across the organization Lead the corporate law across the organization. Provide legal support to the Companys business functions. Give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labour law,partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.) Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the companys full legal rights Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization Candidates skills Must be an excellent communicator (written and verbal) with the ability to earn trust and credibility.
