Required Skills: Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative UI/UX solutions that align with business goals and user needs. Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement within the team. Design and Prototype: Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look. User Research and Testing: Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to understand user behaviour and preferences. Use insights to inform design decisions and improve the overall user experience. Visual Design: Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets. Ensure the visual design is consistent with the Design System and enhances the user experience. Maintain Design Systems: Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all products. Document design standards and best practices. Present and Defend Designs: Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders. Communicate design rationale and incorporate feedback effectively. Required Qualification: Bachelors degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. 9+ years of experience in UI/UX design or a Product Designer field. Proven track record of designing successful digital products (Mobile, web, and desktop applications). 3+ years of Proven experience in a leadership role, with the ability to guide and inspire a team of designers. Strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise and projects. Demonstrated ability to create user-centred designs. Strong understanding of UX/UI best practices, accessibility standards, and user research methodologies. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro and prototyping tools. Knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping is a plus. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and timeline. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes. Experience working in a product-based company is preferred. Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript) for rapid prototyping.
