About the Role: We are searching for a highly proficient Lead Engineer to become part of our team and take charge of end-to-end technical delivery across various web-based projects. This position necessitates extensive knowledge in PHP, web development, MySQL, DevOps, and GitHub, in addition to robust troubleshooting, testing, and project management skills. You will supervise a team of developers, ensure code quality, and steer successful project completion. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications using PHP and associated technologies. - Manage MySQL database architecture, optimization, and performance enhancement. - Supervise code reviews, testing strategies, and uphold high standards of code quality and security. - Manage DevOps tasks such as CI/CD pipelines, deployment, monitoring, and incident response. - Oversee GitHub repositories, branching strategies, pull requests, and release processes. - Serve as the primary technical focal point in guaranteeing alignment between technical solutions and business needs. - Collaborate with QA to establish testing frameworks and strategies. - Resolve technical issues across the stack, from code to infrastructure. - Coordinate and oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resources to achieve business objectives. Required Skills & Experience: - 7+ years of PHP development experience (Laravel, Symfony, or similar frameworks preferred). - Profound expertise in web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and RESTful APIs. - Hands-on experience with MySQL (queries, indexing, optimization). - Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (Docker, CI/CD, Nginx/Apache configuration, cloud services). - Advanced knowledge of Git/GitHub workflows. - Demonstrated capability in managing technical projects and leading a team. - Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. - Strong communication and documentation abilities. Nice to Have: - Experience with cloud platforms (Azure). - Enhancing DevOps. - Familiarity with Node.js.
