Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Assistant to join our team. The Laundry Assistant is responsible for ensuring that all laundry itemssuch as linens, towels, uniforms, and personal clothingare cleaned, pressed, and stored to the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation. Key Responsibilities: Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron clothing and other textile items. Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Treat stains and inspect items for damage or wear. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room. Track and manage inventory of laundry supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals. Assist with delivery and collection of laundry items as needed. Ensure timely processing of laundry to meet daily demands. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Previous experience in a laundry, housekeeping, or similar role is an advantage. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of hygiene. Physical stamina to lift, stand, and move throughout the shift. Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
