Job Description
Set up and operate lathe machines to produce parts according to technical drawings and specifications. Load raw materials and secure workpieces in the lathe. Monitor machine operation to detect issues or malfunctions and make adjustments as needed. Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.). Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical instructions. Perform regular machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized. Record production data and maintain documentation accurately. Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
