Overview This position is for a Language Specialist responsible for the Japanese language support for coordinating the software application development. The job location is Trivandrum, India. Work involves elicitation of requirements from customers and coordination with team members to completion of the project. He/ she will be responsible for communicating with the customer to understand the requirements and transferring it to the team for implementing it. This role does not include software project management. Job Responsibilities Effectively communicate with Japanese customers to understand the concept of the software to be developed and the use cases of the product Coordinate with team members to effectively transfer the business use cases from customers without losing the original concept Actively participate in the meetings and effectively communicate with both sides and work as a bridge engineer Understand the culture and personal behavior of each customer and take decisions dynamically during the discussion with the customer accordingly Help the team in translating the inputs received from the customer Qualifications and Requirements Graduate in computer science or any degree related to computer or electronics JLPT N2 or higher At least 3+ years of experience in working with software-related field Desirable to understand in any of the programming languages like C++, Java or C# Understanding of software engineering basics, the concept of software quality and software work products Knowledge of basic concepts of web-based application development and understanding of the concept of mobile applications Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese,
