Assist in cutting, chopping, grinding, and peeling vegetables (e.g., onions, tomatoes, drumsticks).

Help in making dosa/idli batter, chutneys, and other prep items.

Refill spice containers, ingredients, and condiments as needed.

? Cooking Assistance

Support the main cook/chef in cooking tasks.

Help with plating and garnishing South Indian dishes like dosas, vadas, idlis, sambar, rasam, etc.

Maintain cleanliness around the stove and tawa area.

? Stock & Inventory

Unpack and organize kitchen supplies and ingredients.

Report low stock levels to the chef or manager.

Properly label and store food items.

? Equipment Handling

Operate basic kitchen equipment like grinders, idli steamers, and dosa tawas under supervision.

Report any faulty equipment or hazards.

? Compliance & Hygiene

Follow all food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.

Wear appropriate uniforms, gloves, caps, etc.
