Junior Resident Doctor DNB ORTHO As such, during a normal workday, junior residents should assess and examine assigned patients, write progress notes in their charts, perform any necessary procedures (with supervision, as required), and communicate with consulting services, under the guidance of their senior resident or attending physician.
