Job Description

Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of detailed design drawings, schematics, and blueprints using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.). Collaborate with senior engineers and design teams to develop product designs, mechanical assemblies, and parts. Ensure that all design drawings comply with industry standards and project requirements. Modify and revise designs based on feedback from senior engineers. Maintain and organize design documentation, including CAD files, technical reports, and specifications. Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards. Stay current with CAD software updates and industry trends to improve design efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelors degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field (or equivalent technical education). Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar drafting tools. Basic understanding of engineering design principles, geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing (GD&T). Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality designs. Preferred Skills: Experience with 3D modeling and drafting tools. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials. Exposure to Bill of Materials (BOM) management and engineering change order processes. Knowledge of flat-packing furniture and the manufacturing process in the wood industry will be an added advantage.
