Job Description
As an Engineer in this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, submission, and management of tenders. Your tasks will involve gathering information, drafting documents, and ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining records and communicating effectively with various stakeholders throughout the tender process. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the creation of tender documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness. - Compiling information from diverse sources and preparing tender procedures, cash flows, and schedules. - Drafting high-quality bid responses in a professional and timely manner. - Monitoring tender deadlines and coordinating with different departments for necessary information. - Maintaining accurate records of all tenders, tracking progress, and outcomes. - Communicating with vendors and stakeholders to ensure a smooth tender process. - Drafting plans, policies, and procedures related to tendering. - Attending tender briefing meetings and processing quotations and tender extensions. - Maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders. To excel in this role, you should possess strong organizational and administrative skills to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential for interacting with various stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with online platforms and tendering portals are crucial for document preparation and reporting. Attention to detail, knowledge of procurement processes, and contract management will be beneficial. Strong analytical skills and prior experience in a similar role are often preferred. This is a full-time position with benefits including Provident Fund. The work schedule is during the day shift with performance bonuses and yearly bonuses offered. A Bachelor's degree is required, along with at least 3 years of experience in tender and clerk work. A willingness to travel up to 25% of the time is preferred. The work location is in person.,
