About the Role: We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Intern to support our ongoing infrastructure and site development projects at our mining facility. This internship provides hands-on experience in civil works in a challenging and rewarding mining environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and supervision of civil engineering projects related to mining infrastructure (e.g., roads, drainage, foundations, retaining walls). Support in surveying and preparing site layouts, drawings, and reports. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and engineering designs. Assist with quality control for construction materials and work. Coordinate with contractors, site supervisors, and project engineers to monitor daily site activities. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports and material logs. Learn and apply mining-specific civil engineering practices such as tailing dam construction, slope stabilization, and water management. Requirements: Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (3rd or 4th year preferred). Basic knowledge of civil construction techniques and surveying tools. Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project, and/or civil engineering design software is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
