Job Description

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Hyderabad for a Junior Architect (1-3 years experience). The Junior Architect will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with architectural or interior design, project execution, and project management. Responsibilities Assist in Design Development: Work closely with senior architects to help develop design concepts. This includes creating sketches, 2D drawings, and 3D models. Drafting and Documentation: Prepare architectural drawings and documents using software like AutoCAD, Rhino3D, or similar tools. Research and Code Compliance: Research local building codes, regulations, and zoning requirements to ensure that designs comply with legal and safety standards. Assist in preparing permit applications. Material and Product Research: Help in selecting appropriate materials, finishes, and construction methods for projects based on budget, aesthetics, and performance requirements. Coordination: Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and contractors, to ensure that all aspects of a project are well-coordinated and integrated into the design. Site Visits: Conduct site visits to assess progress, quality, and adherence to design intent. This also involves documenting site conditions and addressing any issues that may arise during construction. Client Communication: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences and present design options or updates. Assist in preparing client presentations. Project Management Support: Assist in project management tasks, such as tracking project timelines, budgets, and resources. Assist in writing project reports and proposals. Quality Control: Review drawings and documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to firm standards. Ensure that all work is of high quality and meets the project requirements. Sustainability: Incorporate sustainable design principles into projects, such as energy efficiency and environmentally friendly materials, in line with the firm's or project's goals. Documentation Management: Organize and manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence, to keep information accessible and up to date. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture, or Interior Design, or related field Project Management skills Proficiency in CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other architectural design software Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience with LEED certification is a plus Fluent use of Rhino+Grasshopper and VRay/Corona is a plus. Experience with BIM is a plus,
