Job Description: As a Jr Sous Chef at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, you will report directly to the Chef De Cuisine. Your role will require you to have a deep understanding of all kitchen operations and be ready to manage any situation that may arise. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes. Moreover, you will oversee the kitchen team members, including training, scheduling, and performance management. Ensuring kitchen safety standards, compliance with health regulations, and managing inventory and supplies will also be part of your responsibilities. Your input in menu planning and maintaining quality food operations will be valuable.
