Position: Accountant Location: Bhandup, Mumbai Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a comprehensive understanding of accounting practices related to private and proprietorship companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in balance sheet preparation, tax filing (both company and personal), inventory management, and cost accounting. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for private and proprietorship companies. Develop, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheets. Manage company and personal tax filings, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Oversee inventory accounting and cost accounting functions. Monitor and analyze accounting data, producing financial reports and statements. Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices. Provide financial analysis and forecasting to support business decisions. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Conduct periodic audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Assist with budgeting and financial planning processes. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5 to 6 years of proven accounting experience, particularly with private and proprietorship companies. In-depth knowledge of balance sheet preparation and financial reporting. Experience in tax filing for both companies and individuals. Strong background in inventory management and cost accounting. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
