Job Title: IT Project Lead Location: Chennai Hybrid Employment Type: Full-time Experience Required: 7-8 years Certification: ITIL Certified (Mandatory) Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Lead with a proven track record in Client Management, Development, and Support Services. The ideal candidate will be ITIL- certified and possess excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience in logistics or supply chain projects is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication, requirement gathering, and delivery alignment. Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure. Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including development, QA, support, and operations. Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget. Establish and manage project plans, schedules, risk logs, and resource allocation. Oversee the development and support functions ensuring adherence to SLAs and ITIL practices. Facilitate regular client meetings, reviews, and project status updates. Manage change requests, escalations, and issue resolution in a timely manner. Apply ITIL principles to improve service delivery and project governance. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation. Required Skills & Experience: Strong experience in client-facing project management roles in the IT industry. Proven experience managing software development and support projects. ITIL certification is mandatory. Experience in project planning tools like MS Project, JIRA, or similar. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage remote resources. Experience working in or managing projects related to logistics, supply chain PMP/Prince2 certification is an advantage.
