Job Title: Senior Executive - Procurement Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an IT Sourcing and Procurement Specialist for the Reserve Bank IT department. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the procurement lifecycle, negotiating contracts, and optimizing the acquisition of IT goods and services. Experience: 3 to 6 Years (Mandate of 2 Years in IT Procurement) Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Sourcing: o Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality in IT procurement. o Identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on performance, capabilities, and alignment with organizational goals. 2. Vendor Management: o Establish and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors. o Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to achieve favorable agreements while mitigating risks. 3. Procurement Process: o Oversee the end-to-end procurement process for IT goods and services. o Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and specifications. 4. Cost Optimization: o Conduct cost-benefit analyses and implement strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvement. o Monitor market trends and technology advancements to optimize procurement decisions. 5. Contract Management: o Draft, review, and manage IT contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. o Monitor contract performance and address issues as needed. 6. Risk Mitigation: o Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with IT procurement. o Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the organization's interests. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven experience in IT sourcing and procurement, preferably within the financial sector. Strong negotiation skills and a comprehensive understanding of contract law. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with IT trends, technologies, and market dynamics. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
