Job Description
We are searching for a skilled iOS Team Leader who is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the process of developing scalable and secure functionality on the iOS platform. You will collaborate with a team of experienced individuals to establish connections, share your expertise, and enhance your skills. Your primary objectives will include leading a small team, utilizing Swift code for iOS development, implementing object-oriented programming principles and design patterns in coding, understanding iOS SDK, various iOS versions, and screen size adaptations, working with remote data through REST API and JSON, managing the iOS development life cycle, comprehending iOS App Code signing and deployment processes, translating business requirements into technical needs, handling offline storage, threading, and performance optimization, integrating third-party libraries and APIs, staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and demonstrating initiative and self-motivation in performing tasks with minimal supervision. Your responsibilities will involve contributing your unique expertise to the team, taking ownership and thinking creatively to solve real-world customer issues, providing technical leadership and guidance on project plans, managing day-to-day activities of the engineering team, participating in recruitment and performance appraisal processes, leading in architecting and developing new features aligned with the product roadmap, ensuring team performance and growth, adhering to industry best practices in design, testing, and security, collaborating with UI/UX designers and software testers, maintaining code quality and organization, and continuously seeking ways to enhance development efficiency and user experience. You should possess a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, a wide range of technical competencies, excellent coding abilities, a passion for creating high-quality code, problem-solving skills, effective communication, curiosity, familiarity with continuous integration, and a proactive approach to scalability, reliability, and performance challenges. Your key expertise should lie in Swift, Xcode, Core Data, Auto Layout, Git, iOS Human Interface Guidelines, REST APIs, and JSON. Minimum qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or relevant fields, along with 4+ years of experience as an iOS Team Leader.
