Job Title: Investment Banker Job Location: Delhi Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Banker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in capital raising, pitch development, and due diligence, with a solid understanding of valuation techniques. As part of a fast-paced environment, you will work closely with senior management to support the execution of investment banking transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), debt and equity offerings, and other financial advisory services. Key Responsibilities: Capital Raising: Lead the process of raising capital through equity or debt offerings by preparing presentations, managing investor communications, and engaging with potential investors. Pitch Development: Develop and present compelling investment ideas and proposals for clients, creating detailed and effective pitch books tailored to meet client needs. Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial and operational analysis, to support transactions, ensuring all information is accurate and complete. Valuation Analysis: Apply relevant valuation techniques to assess the value of potential investment opportunities, including discounted cash flow (DCF), precedent transaction analysis, and comparable company analysis. Secretarial & Planning: Provide administrative and secretarial support during the transaction process, ensuring timely coordination of meetings, documentation, and follow-ups. Financial Modeling: Develop detailed and accurate financial models to assist in decision-making processes and investment strategy formulation. Qualifications: Education: A degree in Finance, Economics, or related field. A CA (Chartered Accountant) or MBA (Master of Business Administration) is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field. Relevant experience from Venture Capital (VC) firms will be an added advantage. Skills: o Strong understanding of capital raising processes. o Expertise in pitching, pitch development, and delivering presentations. o In-depth knowledge of valuation methods and techniques. o Solid proficiency in financial modeling and due diligence. o Excellent communication and negotiation skills. o Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. o Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial tools.
