We are seeking a highly skilled IoT Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in IoT development and engineering, focusing on embedded systems and sensor integration. As an IoT Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing connected devices and systems across various industries such as technology, manufacturing, and healthcare. Your role will involve integrating sensors, designing efficient IoT protocols, and collaborating with cloud platforms to create scalable IoT solutions. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in embedded systems, networking, and sensor integration. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing IoT solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, developing and maintaining firmware for IoT devices, working with cloud platforms for data management and analysis, ensuring the security of IoT devices and networks, and monitoring and troubleshooting IoT devices post-deployment. Key skills required for this role include proficiency in IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, HTTP), experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Google Cloud IoT, Microsoft Azure IoT), understanding of networking protocols and embedded systems, knowledge of security protocols for IoT networks, experience in sensor integration, familiarity with wireless technologies, and proficiency in working with microcontrollers and embedded systems design. Essential skills for this position include strong programming proficiency in languages like C/C++, Python, or JavaScript, hands-on experience with microcontrollers and sensors, and practical experience with IoT device deployment and troubleshooting. Additionally, soft skills such as problem-solving, analytical thinking, effective communication, attention to detail, and adaptability are crucial for success in this role.
