Job Description

As a part of PATH's Digital Health Team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to impactful work in the digital health space. The intern will be involved in exciting projects and gain hands-on experience with digital solutions implemented in various healthcare settings across the country. Your role will include program planning, implementation & management, facilitation at different levels, as well as reporting and documentation. Your main responsibilities will involve creating wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity UI designs for digital health platforms. You will design user flows, prototypes, and component libraries using tools like Figma, collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design elements, and support usability testing to enhance user experience. Additionally, you will develop visual assets such as icons, illustrations, and infographics for digital products, maintain design consistency, and align with PATH branding guidelines. You will also prepare presentations and visual documentation for stakeholder reviews, attend team meetings, and contribute to planning and discussions. Throughout the internship, you will have the opportunity to develop skills in UI/UX design for web and mobile platforms, user research and journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and design systems. You will also gain experience in collaborating in agile, tech-centered environments, applying responsive and accessible design principles, and translating program needs into visual solutions. To be successful in this role, you should be pursuing or have completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Communication, Marketing, Social Development, Public Health, Nutrition, or a related field. You should have a strong ability to receive feedback constructively and iterate quickly, with an interest in public health, social impact, or user-centric design in low-resource settings being a plus. Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and design thinking, proficiency in design tools like Figma and Canva, and excellent analytical, visual, and communication skills are essential. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Office tools, possess good verbal and written communication skills, be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and ownership. This is a three-month, full-time internship based in New Delhi. Applicants must have legal authorization to work in India.
