Job Description

1. Project Planning & Coordination Developing Project Plans: Create detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all stages of the project are mapped out from inception to completion. Setting Milestones & Deadlines: Establish key milestones and deadlines to ensure the project progresses smoothly and is completed on time. Resource Management: Organize and manage resources, including materials, labor, and design teams. 2. Client & Stakeholder Communication Client Consultation: Meet with clients to discuss their needs, expectations, and budget for the project. Ensure clear communication regarding design, materials, and timelines. Managing Expectations: Act as a liaison between clients and contractors, ensuring clients are updated regularly on project progress and addressing concerns promptly. Managing Stakeholders: Communicate with various stakeholders, including architects, contractors, suppliers, and designers, to ensure alignment on project goals and delivery. 3. Design Oversight & Development Collaborating with Designers: Work with interior designers to develop concepts and design solutions that meet the clients vision while adhering to budget and space limitations. Approval of Design Proposals: Review and approve design proposals, ensuring they align with client expectations and regulations. Ensuring Design Consistency: Ensure that the final design is implemented according to specifications and meets both aesthetic and functional requirements. 4. Budget & Cost Management Developing Budgets: Prepare detailed budgets for the project, ensuring that all costs are accounted for, including labor, materials, permits, and any contingencies. Monitoring Costs: Track the financial aspects of the project throughout its lifecycle, ensuring the project stays within budget. Cost Negotiation: Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to secure the best pricing for materials and services. 5. Procurement & Vendor Management Sourcing Materials: Identify and source the necessary materials, furniture, fixtures, and finishes for the project. Managing Suppliers & Contractors: Select, hire, and manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors. Ensure that they meet deadlines and quality standards. Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to oversee the quality of work and materials. 6. Project Execution & Site Management Overseeing Construction & Installation: Monitor the construction and installation processes, ensuring work adheres to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Problem-Solving: Address any issues that arise during the execution phase, such as delays, unexpected costs, or design modifications. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets the required standards, including checking for compliance with building codes and regulations. 7. Risk Management Identifying Risks: Recognize potential risks and obstacles that could impact the project timeline, budget, or quality. Mitigation Plans: Develop strategies to minimize risks, such as adjusting timelines, budgeting for unforeseen issues, or working with alternative suppliers. Problem Resolution: Quickly address any issues that arise on-site or within the project team, keeping the project on track. 8. Final Inspection & Handover Inspection: Conduct final inspections to ensure that the project meets all client specifications and industry standards. Client Walkthrough: Perform a walkthrough with the client, explaining the design elements, materials used, and any maintenance considerations. Final Deliverables: Ensure that all necessary documentation, such as warranties, receipts, and design plans, are provided to the client. 9. Post-Project Evaluation Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from clients and other stakeholders to evaluate the project's success and identify any areas for improvement. Project Documentation: Complete all necessary documentation for the project, including post-project reports and lessons learned.
