Job Description

As an Informatica Administrator Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will play a crucial role in supporting the migration and validation of Informatica services, such as PowerCenter and IDQ, in the cloud. Your responsibilities will include validating connection configurations, troubleshooting issues with services, and collaborating with application developers to ensure environmental parity and runtime consistency. Your scope of work will involve developing and executing proof of concepts (POCs) for specified patterns, participating in migration planning and coordination calls as a platform SME, providing installation and configuration guidance tailored to platform requirements in AWS, supporting the validation of platform readiness and configuration in non-production and production environments, and troubleshooting issues during testing, cutover, and early production operation. Additionally, you will be responsible for capacity planning, performance optimization, and documenting changes and configurations for handoff to operational teams. It is important to note that tasks related to AWS infrastructure provisioning, networking, IAM, or monitoring setup are considered out of scope for this role. Similarly, activities such as application code changes, development, or refactoring, ongoing run/support post-transition phase, and licensing, patching, or compliance tasks beyond the migration period are also not included in your responsibilities.,
