As an Industrial Electrician at SIPOREX, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance team, ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems in our manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will include performing maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring safety compliance. You will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various electrical equipment such as motors, generators, transformers, and lighting systems. Your expertise in diagnosing electrical problems and implementing effective solutions will be essential to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency. Installing new electrical components and systems will also be part of your duties, requiring strict adherence to local electrical codes and safety standards. Collaborating with other maintenance staff and departments, you will contribute to upgrades and modifications of existing systems to enhance performance. Safety will be a top priority in your role, as you will be expected to follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure working environment. Documenting maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status accurately will be essential, along with providing on-call support for emergency electrical issues outside regular working hours. To excel in this position, you should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a technical diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering being preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing environment is required, along with strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, and wiring diagrams. Having a valid electrical license or certification in line with local regulations is essential. Your problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team will be critical to your success.
