Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze import freight pricing for ocean, air, and inland transportation. Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, agents, and vendors to obtain competitive rates. Develop and maintain rate sheets and ensure timely updates. Negotiate pricing with carriers and suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions. Support the sales team by providing accurate and timely freight quotes. Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry updates to maintain competitive pricing strategies. Ensure compliance with import regulations, tariffs, and customs requirements. Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment execution. Handle customer inquiries related to pricing and provide necessary support. Maintain pricing records and assist in preparing reports for management review.
