Job Description:

We are looking for a Lead Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices to join a leading banking project in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be technically strong, have experience leading development teams, and possess a deep understanding of enterprise-level architecture and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and delivery of scalable Java-based applications.
Design and implement Microservices architecture with Spring Boot.
Collaborate with stakeholders including architects, business analysts, and testers.
Ensure adherence to best coding practices, code reviews, and continuous integration.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Mentor junior developers and ensure delivery quality.

Technical Skills Required:

Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8 or above)
Expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices
Experience with REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate
Good knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
Familiar with Docker, CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to Kafka, Redis, or message queues is a plus
Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field
Strong communication and team management skills
Previous experience working with BFSI/Banking clients is mandatory
