Job Description
The Hotel Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high standards of service, and optimizing profitability. This role involves managing staff, controlling budgets, implementing operational strategies, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hospitality standards.
- Key ResponsibilitiesOperations ManagementSupervise and coordinate daily hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.
- Ensure smooth guest check-in/check-out processes and handle escalated guest concerns.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service across all hotel areas.
- Financial ManagementMonitor budgets, control costs, and achieve financial targets (occupancy rates, revenue, and profitability).
- Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve revenue and reduce expenses.
- Oversee room pricing strategies in collaboration with revenue management.
- Guest ServicesEnsure exceptional customer service and resolve guest complaints promptly.
- Monitor guest satisfaction levels and implement initiatives for improvement.
- Maintain strong relationships with guests to encourage repeat business and positive reviews.
- Staff ManagementRecruit, train, supervise, and evaluate hotel staff.
- Schedule staff shifts to ensure optimal coverage and productivity.
- Promote a positive work environment and uphold company policies.
