Additionally, the warden is responsible for allotting rooms to the students and ensuring the maintenance of the hostels. Furthermore, the hostel warden is tasked with monitoring the quality of food served in the hostels and maintaining strict discipline among the students. In cases of indiscipline or misbehavior by the students, the warden reports to the Director for appropriate action. Addressing grievances and complaints raised by students is also part of the warden's responsibilities, ensuring that genuine concerns are looked into. Moreover, the hostel warden is expected to arrange for first-aid in case of emergencies and facilitate hospitalization of students or staff if required.
