Hostel Warden Skanda Tech

Job Summary:

The Male Hostel Warden will be responsible for maintaining discipline, ensuring safety, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the men's hostel. He will act as the first point of contact for hostel residents, ensuring a comfortable, secure, and well-regulated living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• ? Maintain discipline and decorum among hostel residents.
• ? Ensure adherence to hostel rules and regulations.
• ? Monitor resident movement, attendance, and curfew timings.
• ? Handle grievances and resolve issues among residents effectively.
• ? Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for cleanliness and upkeep of hostel premises.
• ? Maintain proper records of hostel occupancy, maintenance requests, and incident reports.
• ? Ensure the safety and security of residents at all times.
• ? Conduct regular checks of rooms and common areas.
• ? Manage emergencies or any medical situations with immediate action.
• ? Supervise entry and exit of residents and visitors.
• ? Report any unusual behavior or incident to higher authorities.
• ? Coordinate with administration for room allocations and resident lists.
• ? Support and guide new residents during onboarding.

Skills Required:

• ? Good communication and interpersonal skills 
• ? Leadership and problem-solving ability
• ? Ability to handle conflicts and emergencies
• ? Basic computer skills (MS Office, Email, etc.) 
• ? Physically fit and alert
• ? Fluency in [Tamil] Other Requirements:
• ? Willingness to stay within hostel premises (Residential position).
• ? Should maintain confidentiality and a professional attitude at all times. 
• ? Must be approachable, fair, and disciplined.
