Job Description
As a caregiver, your primary responsibility is to provide personal care to clients in need. This includes assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. You will also support their mobility by helping them use walkers, wheelchairs, or other devices. Monitoring and reporting any changes in the client's physical condition is crucial for their well-being. In addition to personal care, you will be involved in meal preparation based on the client's dietary requirements and preferences. Feeding assistance may be required, and ensuring proper hydration is essential. Light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and laundry will be part of your routine to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for the client. Accompanying the client for grocery shopping and errands may also be necessary. This role may involve working full-time or on a freelance basis with day, morning, night, or rotational shifts.
