Job Description

Hiring a Cook Continental Cuisine | Cyprus ( Online Interview on 12th July- Saturday)

We are currently hiring experienced Cooks for a reputed restaurant in Cyprus. This is an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals who specialize in Continental cuisine and are looking to grow their careers internationally.

Location: Cyprus

Interview Date: 13th July

Salary: 800 Euro /month

Gender: Open to both Male & Female candidates

Accommodation: Provided by the company

Food & Transportation: Provided by the company

Duty Hours: 8- 10 hours/day, 6 days/week

Mode of Hiring: CV Selection + Video Introduction + Working Video (Mandatory)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Culinary Director/Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.

  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and presentation of high-quality Continental dishes.

  • Train and guide kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety, and hygiene standards.

  • Develop new menu items and ensure consistency in existing offerings.

  • Monitor inventory levels and manage kitchen supply costs within budget.

  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.

  • Support in staff scheduling and operational coordination during service hours.

  • Lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Sous Chef.

  • Contribute to revenue growth through cuisine-based initiatives and off-premise catering.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Education: Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a reputed catering institute.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 23 years of relevant experience in the same position.

    • 810 years overall kitchen experience preferred, including senior line cook or sous chef roles in high-volume restaurants or resorts.

  • Skills:

    • Strong command of English (spoken and written).

    • Expertise in Continental cuisine, ingredients, techniques, and kitchen safety practices.

    • Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.

    • Ability to work under pressure in a high-paced environment.

    • Familiarity with kitchen equipment maintenance, sanitation protocols, and food service appliances.

    • Proficiency in multitasking and organizational abilities.

Additional Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment, including basic electrical and plumbing systems.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
