As the Head of Packaging Design at Ultrahuman, you will play a crucial role in shaping the first tactile experience that our customers have with our brand. Your responsibilities will go beyond creating visually appealing boxes; you will be tasked with engineering packaging solutions that not only protect and delight but also embody our ethos of quality and innovation. Drawing inspiration from industry leaders like Apple and Dyson, you will lead the end-to-end packaging strategy for all Ultrahuman products, collaborating closely with design, engineering, and operations teams to deliver a holistic product experience. Your key responsibilities will include defining the packaging strategy and vision for Ultrahuman products, leading the design and development of packaging for new products and iterations, prototyping and testing packaging designs to ensure durability and user-friendliness, collaborating with manufacturing and supply chain partners to optimize production processes, and managing a team of packaging designers or coordinators. Additionally, you will be expected to possess a strong educational background in Packaging Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 8 years of experience in packaging design/engineering roles for consumer electronics or high-end products. Your success in this role will be driven by your ability to think creatively, balance conflicting requirements, and stay updated on packaging materials and trends. Preferred qualifications include experience in consumer electronics packaging, a global mindset, an established supplier network, and a track record of innovative packaging projects that showcase your problem-solving skills and passion for sustainability.
