This job is based out of Mumbai, India - only current residents of Mumbai apply for this position. Investor Relations is the fastest growing financial markets field and Valorem Advisors is a leader and one of the most differentiated players in Investor Relations management in India. Desired Qualifications: - 10+ years of experience in investor relations/finance/equity markets. - CA/CFA and/or MBA from a reputed B-school preferred. - Equity research experience preferred from sell-side/buy-side, private equity, investment banking, etc. - Experience in Training & Development, Teaching, and Leading teams in Equity Finance roles preferred. - Must have Excellent written and verbal skills. - Must have an excellent eye for detailing. - Relationship-building skills in the investment community, and the ability to collaborate with the executive management team of client companies. - Financial modeling, excel skills, and PowerPoint skills required. - Demonstrated expertise in researching publicly listed companies analyzing equity stocks and communicating findings to diverse audiences. - Extensive experience in analyzing Indian and global equity markets, with a strong knowledge of the regulatory environment in India. Core Role: - Head the research team in all aspects of fundamental and financial analysis on public limited companies and Investor Relations activities. - Train analysts on fundamental and Financial analysis of our client companies, peers, and industry sectors. - Improve the quality of the team's fundamental and financial knowledge. - Perform quality and control checks on all company collaterals like presentations, reports, analysis, and take ownership of such products and role. - Lead a team of more than 20 analysts with relation to the research role. - Ability to creatively and fundamentally think and analyze companies and guide the team to drive the thinking process for researching these companies. - Perform in-depth Research on client companies, peers, and industry with the team. - Prepare/Review/guide the team for making fundamental reports and financial analysis on companies. - Preparing/review/guide the team to make Financial models. - Prepare/review/guide the team to make Investor Presentations for client companies. - Train/guide account managers to analyze companies better and prepare them to present to the investor community. - Research and analyze public companies and their peers. - Perform, improve, and check various types of value-added analysis. - Perform fundamental and financial research on client companies, guide the team to understand, and train account managers to present these companies to the investor community. - Make presentations on client companies and pitch investment thesis to senior-level investor community participants with the analysts. - Perform various types of analyses, reports, logs, etc. - Prepare/coordinate/review/improve investor materials like quarterly earnings releases, earnings conference call scripts, and annual reports, etc. - Respond to investor inquiries if required, or guide the team to respond. - Develop, manage, and enhance all communication and investor relations value-added reports and aspects with existing and potential clients and investor community.
