Job Description

We are a startup and are looking for a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations, ensuring excellent food quality, consistency, and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Kitchen Management: Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring a smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Food Preparation & Quality Control: Ensure all menu items are prepared with consistency, freshness, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the team to design and refine a menu that balances speed, taste, and profitability.
  • Hygiene & Safety Compliance: Maintain food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and health codes.
  • Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring a high-performance team.
  • Inventory & Cost Control: Manage stock levels, minimize food waste, and work with suppliers to optimize costs.
  • Speed & Efficiency: Ensure timely food preparation and quick service without compromising quality.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a QSR, fast-casual, or high-volume restaurant.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and hygiene best practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in grilling, frying, and quick-prep cooking techniques (depending on menu focus).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Passion for high-quality food and customer satisfaction.
  • Preferred Qualifications:Culinary degree or professional chef training is a plus.
  • Experience in cost control and inventory management.
  • Ability to innovate and create efficient kitchen workflows.
