Job Description
Patient assessment and monitoring:Regularly checking vital signs like temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rate, and reporting any significant changes to the medical team. Medication administration:Safely administering medications as prescribed by doctors, including injections, and following proper protocols to prevent errors. Basic patient care:Assisting patients with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Wound care:Cleaning and dressing minor wounds under supervision. Patient education:Providing health information and instructions to patients and their families regarding their conditions and self-care practices. Vital signs monitoring:Regularly checking and recording vital signs to identify any changes in patient condition. Documentation:Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including observations, medications administered, and treatments provided. Collaboration with healthcare team:Communicating effectively with doctors, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Infection control:Adhering to strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases. Emergency response:Providing initial assistance in emergency situations as needed.
