Job Description
The selected intern will be responsible for the following day-to-day tasks: - Collecting data from various sources, which may include tables, websites, map applications, and documents. - Digitizing diverse data sources to create structured spatial datasets. - Designing and developing maps based on spatial data. - Processing and populating both spatial and tabular datasets efficiently. - Geo-referencing and digitizing information extracted from scanned maps. - Performing spatial analyses, such as intersect, buffer, duplicate geometry removal, and distance/area calculations. - Demonstrating technical proficiency with knowledge of QGIS and PostgreSQL database management.
