Job Description: We are currently hiring for the role of GHG Validator/Verifier to support our environmental assurance and carbon verification projects across India. Educational Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or Advanced Diploma in Science or Engineering Master of Science or equivalent preferred. Certifications: Lead Verifier Certification for ISO 14064-1/2/3 (Mandatory) Accredited Energy Auditor by BEE (Preferred, not mandatory) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in validation and verification activities as a team member under CDM or VCM frameworks Hands-on experience in verifying GHG emission reductions and/or removals enhancement Core Competencies & Skills: Proven capability in conducting validation/verification activities Deep understanding of GHG programs like VCS, GS, GCC and their eligibility criteria Proficiency in: Evidence gathering, risk management, and materiality assessment Energy and GHG accounting methodologies Emission factor development and statistical uncertainty analysis Technical auditing of GHG emissions, including process and non-energy sources Regulatory frameworks including: Carbon Credit Trading Scheme (CCTS) Energy Conservation (Amendment) Act, 2022 Environment Protection Act, 1986 Familiarity with data auditing, system verification techniques, and risk-based sampling methods Ability to assess accuracy, sufficiency, and appropriateness of evidence to draw verification conclusions If you meet the above qualifications and are passionate about sustainability and carbon markets, we welcome your application.
