### **Job Title**: General Dentist ### **Key Responsibilities**: - **Diagnose oral conditions**: Examine teeth, gums, and other areas of the mouth to diagnose diseases, injuries, or malformations. - **Provide dental treatments**: Perform routine dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, root canals, crowns, bridges, and extractions. - **Develop treatment plans**: Create personalized treatment plans for patients based on their specific dental needs. - **Educate patients**: Provide oral health education, preventive care information, and post-treatment instructions. - **Prescribe medication**: Administer anesthetics and prescribe antibiotics, pain relievers, or other medications as necessary. - **Use diagnostic tools**: Take and interpret X-rays and other diagnostic tests. - **Manage patient records**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment histories and progress notes. - **Refer to specialists**: When necessary, refer patients to specialists such as orthodontists, periodontists, or oral surgeons for more advanced care. - **Ensure safety and compliance**: Follow infection control and occupational health and safety guidelines to maintain a sterile and safe environment. ### **Preferred Experience**: - 1-3 years of experience in a general dental practice setting - Familiarity with modern dental technologies and equipment - Experience working with diverse patient populations ### **Working Conditions**: - Full-time position available - Dental office or clinic environment - May require standing for extended periods and working in close proximity to patients --- This description provides a general framework but can be customized based on the specific needs of the dental practice.,
