Position Title : Senior Software Engineer GemFire/In-Memory Data Grid Location: CBD Belapur - NAVI Mumbai Type: Full-time Experience: 5+ years in enterprise software development About the Role We are seeking an experienced software engineer with deep knowledge of VMware Tanzu GemFire (or Apache Geode) to architect and build low-latency, high-throughput data solutions. You will be part of a team focused on distributed caching, data grid performance, and event-driven architectures that power mission-critical applications. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain in-memory data grid solutions using GemFire Develop and optimize data regions, function execution, and CQ (Continuous Query)-based logic Integrate GemFire with enterprise components like Kafka, AMQ, databases, or microservices Define and enforce best practices for data partitioning, replication, and WAN configuration Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize GemFire cluster performance and memory usage Collaborate with DevOps to manage GemFire deployments in cloud or on-prem environments Write reusable, testable, and efficient code using Java, Spring, or Spring Data for GemFire Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and agile ceremonies Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of hands-on experience with VMware Tanzu GemFire or Apache Geode Strong knowledge of distributed systems, data consistency models, and cache eviction policies Proficiency in Java, and familiarity with Spring Boot and Spring Data Geode/GemFire Experience designing client/server topologies, locators, regions (replicated, partitioned), etc. Familiar with GemFire security, WAN replication, and cluster configuration Experience with CI/CD, logging, and monitoring tools (e.g., Pulse, Grafana, Prometheus),
