Job Description
Distant Origin is looking for an experienced talented Garment Sampling Co-ordinator. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated, detail-oriented team player with a strong background in garment sampling and a professional approach to work. Key Responsibilities: 1. Managing Sampling 2. Communicating with manufacturers to oversee the sampling process, garment construction and address any issues that may arise 3. Preparing comprehensive sample analysis report to facilitate effective collaboration with manufacturers, ensuring resolution of any design issues to meet agreed standard. 4. Maintaining data in Excel and sample archives 5. Coordinating with manufacturers and suppliers. 6. Advising and assisting in the quality department 7. Taking responsibility for inspections 8. Overseeing final PP Sample and final order, ensuring smooth production flow Requirements: 1. Extensive industry experience, primarily in the Garments category. 2. Knowledge of garment construction, textiles, tech packs, embellishments and sampling. 3. Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and confidence.
